When considering a ‘theme’ for your event, remember the most successful events involve all five senses: sight, sound, touch, taste and feel. You’ll want to incorporate something for every sense that coordinate and ties the senses together, throughout the event.

1. Get the Invitations out early. The invitations set the tone of the event and the invitation gives everyone a chance to plan. The guests can plan to come to the event. The vendors can plan with the number of attendees that you are able to provide on a timely basis.

2. Don't do anything last minute. You will get the best results if you plan early, give and get information early and most importantly arrive at your own event early, or at least on time. You can eliminate a lot of stress by doing things on a timely manner.

3. Work with everyone as if you are the leader of a team. If you adopt the team concept, then everyone will work in the manner of we are in this together. Everyone will work toward the result of the best event ever. When you work as a dictator, you might as well work alone.
